Tennis Technique in Three Simple Steps

Tennis technique is the foundation of everyone’s game from the beginning student to the pro tennis player. The “reference points” that I will show you are from The ACE System, which derived them from the “fundamental commonalities” of the best players that have ever played the game of tennis—both past and present.

I will give you the instruction in three steps, which include the preparation, the hitting zone, and the stroke endings. This makes it simple and easy for the student to implement. There are also logical adjustments that will allow you to correct your shots during play. This is done by adjusting one of the three positions during the execution of the stroke.

I use stages of muscle memory development in the learning process. The first stage is shadowing. This is when you make the correct swing without a ball. The second stage is hitting a ball fed to you. Stage three is hitting while moving. There are other stages involving live ball drills and match play, but these are the initial ones for learning to play tennis.

Read the following pages on the tennis forehand, tennis backhand, tennis volley, tennis serve, and tennis overhead. Then go out and apply the tennis instruction to your own game. This information can help any player at any level. Tennis has never been so easy to master with the use of this world-class proven information.
